Geoff teaches radio journalism to students studying degrees at the University of Technology in Sydney. Students benefit from his decades of industry experience and thrive on his enthusiasm to educate.

About Geoff

Geoff grew up on the south coast of NSW where he cut his teeth on regional radio. He soon moved to Sydney working on the AM band where he met his now husband, Jason. Geoff has been an advocate and leader in Australia’s Marriage Equality campaign. Geoff lives in Sydney with Jason and rescue cat, Moët.

Accolades and achievements

Geoff has been a finalist on 5 occasions in the category of Best Metropolitan FM Newsreader in the Australian Commercial Radio Association Awards. He has covered the biggest news stories of our time – including the trial of the Anita Cobby murderers, death of Princes Diana, the impeachment of President Clinton, and the election of John Howard as Prime Minister of Australia.
